Appin House Lodges near Oban and Fort William, Argyll

Only 40 minutes from Oban and Fort William these lochside self catering lodges are our 2 original Lodges - 'Birch' and 'Pine', and have been graded as 4 Star with the Scottish Tourist Board. These high quality wood-clad Lodges sleep up to 4 people and stand just outside our main gates. They have proved to be extremely popular with our guests - some of whom return year after year.

Each of these Lodges consists of:

• A large wood-panelled lounge/ dining/ kitchen area.
• Furniture is tasteful and, of course, includes a colour TV and DVD player.
• Bathroom with bath and overbath electric shower.
• One double bedroom.
• One twin bedroom.
• Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.
• The kitchen is well equipped, with electric cooker, fridge / freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

• Heating - Wall hung programmable electric convector radiators plus feature electric optiflame heater.
• Electricity is metered, being payable at the end of each let.
• Parking is right beside each Lodge.

GATE LODGE - 4 Star

Completed in 2004, this Lodge must be seen to be believed. From a majestic and commanding south-facing position above Loch Linnhe it is perfectly sited to enjoy exceptional views. The spacious architect designed wood-clad Lodge is open plan on various levels. There are 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6 - but 2 more, with extra charge, may sleep in the sunroom.

• 2 double bedrooms (1 en-suite) with extra large beds (1 ziplinked twin singles - beds are ziplinked to form a large double).
• 1 twin bedroom (beds may be ziplinked to form a lareg double if desired).

• Large open plan living area and separate sunroom - both with vaulted ceiling and slate floor.
• Oil fired underfloor heating throughout.
• Lounge has multifuel stove, piano, stereo, Digital Freeview TV and video player
• Well fitted kitchen and utility room - providing gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, washer/drier, freezer and good drying facilities.
• Shower room alongside bedrooms 2 and 3, and also a cloakroom/toilet.
• Extensive deck and gas barbecue.
• Parking alongside for several cars.

This large architect designed house has 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6, but a further 2 can easily be accommodated (with extra charge).

• Large open plan living/dining room downstairs, featuring Travertine flooring, Digital Freeview TV, DVD player.
• Multifuel stove in fireplace.
  1 bedroom downstairs with twin ziplinked beds arranged as a double.
• En-suite wet room - suitable for wheelchair users, with grab rails etc. As this room has 2 doors it is also generally accessible.
• Entire ground floor has underfloor heating.
• Well fitted kitchen and utility room, providing gas hob, double electric oven, dishwasher, fridges, freezer, microwave oven, washing machine and tumble dryer.
• 2 bedrooms upstairs, 1 with 5ft double bed, large cot, and ensuite to shower room.
• Second bedroom set up as twin, but beds can be ziplinked to form a large double.
• Family bathroom ensuite to twin bedroom, generally accessible, having 2 doors.

• Further separate sleeping space upstairs with 2 single beds stacked as seating. This area is capable of being curtained off.
• Small seating area as part of upstairs open plan space. With small TV and stereo.
