How to make a booking & booking conditions

General

• From June to September the minimum let is one week. At other times minimum stays of 3 days can be negotiated, subject to availability.
• Beds are made up ready for arrival. Towels are available for hire if required.
• A deposit is required at the time of booking - see below for details. Visa / Mastercard payments are acceptable, as are sterling cheques or direct bank transfer. (With credit cards we have to make a service charge)
• Once a completed booking form and deposit is received then a contract is made and a booking is considered firm: Should cancellation be necessary within 60 days of arrival then the Hirer is liable for the full hire fee, unless the accommodation is re-let. and the deposit is forfeit.
• Cancellation Insurance is recommended. We can supply details of same.
• The number of persons using each unit must not exceed the maximum indicated in the individual description.
  
• In some units electricity is metered and charged at cost - Both apartments and the two smaller Lodges, Birch and Pine.
  Smoking is not prohibited in all properties, but guests are requested not to smoke in bedrooms.

• Weekly bookings are Saturday to Saturday, except Tigh an Lios which is Friday to Friday.
• Deposit 25% for each week booked - cheques payable to D.MATHIESON for apartments and Tigh an Lios, and QUINTUN LTD for lodges. Balance due 2 weeks prior to stay.
• Dogs are allowed by arrangement in most units with a charge of £10 per dog per week. They MUST NOT be left unattended in the property. It is necessary to advise that a dog is being brought.
• Cots should be requested in advance, and are subject to availability - as are highchairs.
• 'Shuna' Apartment can accommodate an extra person and when this occurs there is an extra charge of £50 per week (except infants of under 2 years of age).
• In 'Gate Lodge' and 'Tigh an Lios' a cot and high chair are provided. Electricity is included in hire fee with a supplement for weekly bookings over the Festive Season. See 'Prices' page for when Gate Lodge and Tigh an Lios are occupied by more than 6 people.
  
• Earliest arrival time 3.30pm. Latest departure time 10.30am.
